The text keychain cut from sheet material instead of printed. Every layer is one sheet thick: a base with the tab and ring hole, an optional outline layer and the name. Stack three cut layers in contrasting materials, or engrave the name into the top layer and cut fewer pieces.

Cutting and assembly
You get a ZIP with a DXF and an SVG. Engraving is orange, inner cuts are blue, outlines red and part names green, so LightBurn imports them as separate layers in the right order. Sizes are net - set the kerf in your laser software, not here. Glue the layers in order, the letters last; each letter sits where it was cut on the sheet, so lay the name piece over its outline before you pick the letters off. Thin script fonts make thin letter pieces - for those, engrave the name.
