Licensing
Understand what you can and cannot do with files downloaded from Moxie3D.
All files generated and downloaded through Moxie3D are protected by copyright. By downloading a file, you agree to the terms of the license associated with your account plan. Two license types are available: Personal (included with all plans) and Commercial (coming soon).
Personal License
Included with all plansFor personal, non-commercial use only. Applies to all downloaded files regardless of your plan.
What you CAN do
- Print for personal use (home, hobby, maker projects)
- Print as a gift for friends or family
- Modify files for your own personal use
- Re-download your files at any time for free
What you CANNOT do
- Sell physical prints of the downloaded models
- Redistribute or share the STL/DXF files
- Upload files to other platforms (Printables, Thingiverse, Cults3D, etc.)
- Use files in any commercial context
- Claim the design as your own
Commercial License
Coming SoonAvailable as an add-on subscription for paid plans. Grants the right to sell physical prints of downloaded files.
What you WILL be able to do
- Everything in Personal License
- Sell physical printed objects made from downloaded files
- Sell through online marketplaces (Etsy, eBay, local shops, craft fairs)
- Produce in bulk for commercial projects
- Use in client work and paid commissions
What will NOT be allowed
- Resell or redistribute the original STL/DXF digital files
- Sell files as part of a digital product bundle
- Sub-license the files to third parties
- Remove or alter any copyright notices
- Claim the design as your own
