What it generates
A text keychain with multi-color 3MF output. Type your text, choose a font, set the layer colors. The 3MF file embeds filament color mapping so Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer automatically assign each color to an AMS slot.
Parameters
- Text — up to ~20 characters.
- Font — selection of bundled fonts (rounded, geometric, serif variants).
- Layer 1 color — base plate color.
- Layer 2 color — text/emboss color (sits on top of base).
- Plate thickness — base layer height.
- Text height — emboss depth.
- Keychain hole — toggle for split-ring hole.
Multi-color setup
Export as 3MF to keep the color mapping. The slicer reads filament_colour from the embedded config and auto-assigns each color to an AMS slot.
Single-color printer? Export as STL — you'll get the geometry only, and can paint or filament-swap manually.
Tips
- Print plate-down — the base layer touches the bed, text sits on top.
- For best legibility, use contrasting colors (e.g. black base + white text).
- Short text (3–8 characters) reads cleanest at typical 60×30 mm size.
- Two-layer print: layer 1 stops, layer 2 starts — slicer handles this automatically when you load the 3MF.
