About this generator
A box cut from one sheet: floor, four walls, a lid that swings on a hinge at the back, and a handle that slots into the lid. The walls join with finger joints, so it goes together square. Preview the lid open to check the hinge before you cut.
What it's good for
Keepsake boxes, gift boxes, a tea box, a home for a card game or a small set of tools. The hinged lid with a handle looks finished enough to give away, and you can add your own engraving on the lid in your laser software before you cut. Use 3 mm plywood for small boxes and go thicker for anything you'll carry around full.

Cutting and assembly
You get a ZIP with a DXF and an SVG. Engraving is orange, inner cuts are blue, outlines red and part names green, so LightBurn imports them as separate layers in the right order. Sizes are net - set the kerf in your laser software, not here. Dry-fit everything first, then glue the walls and the floor; the lid and the handle stay free.
